Al Quran - 82:6
Tawheed refers to the belief in the oneness of Allah, the central tenet of Islam. It emphasises that Allah is unique, eternal, and the sole creator and sustainer of the universe, without partners, equals, or offspring. This concept forms the foundation of a Muslim’s faith and worship. Muslims also seek the creators help and guidance through out life. Muslims only worship him snd seek help from only him.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the final messenger of Allah, sent to guide humanity with the message of Islam. He was born in Mecca in 570 CE and is regarded as a role model for his character, wisdom, and leadership. His life and teachings, recorded in the Hadith, serve as a practical example of living in accordance with the Quran. He is a role model for all muslims to adhere to the obedience to the one true Creator
The Quran is the holy book of Islam, revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by Allah over 23 years . It is considered the literal word of Allah, providing guidance on faith, morality, and daily life for all mankind. It is recited and memorised by Muslims worldwide as a source of divine wisdom.
Salah is the obligatory act of worship performed five times daily by Muslims. It is a direct connection between an individual and Allah, offering moments of reflection, gratitude, and submission. Salah reinforces discipline and spiritual awareness, aligning a Muslim’s daily life with faith.
Zakat is a mandatory charitable giving in Islam, where Muslims donate a portion (typically 2.5%) of their wealth to help those in need. It purifies one’s wealth and fosters a sense of social responsibility and compassion, ensuring the well-being of the community.
The concept of ummah (community) in Islam emphasises unity, brotherhood, and mutual support among Muslims. It transcends race, nationality, and culture, promoting cooperation and collective well-being while fostering harmony within a diverse global Muslim community.
Islam promotes high ethical standards, including honesty, justice, compassion, humility, the rights of people as well as the rights of the creator. These values are rooted in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Muslims are encouraged to uphold these principles in all aspects of their lives.
Islam places great importance on seeking knowledge, considering it an obligation for every Muslim. The Quran and Hadith encourage intellectual and spiritual growth, highlighting the pursuit of knowledge as a means to better understand Allah’s creation and to serve humanity. Ensuring correct knowledge is learned without a corrupt source.
Paradise (Jannah) is the eternal reward promised by Allah to those who believe in Him, do good deeds, and remain righteous. It is described in the Quran as a place of unimaginable bliss, peace, and fulfilment, where believers are granted Allah’s mercy and everlasting joy. this is the ultimate goal for all muslims.
